World Vision is like a Costco.
Member organizations can shop for household goods and clothing for free every 2 months! Organizations and individual home-owners can also shop for building materials in their Home Depot-like store, daily, at deep discounts.

5K For Earth Day - Early Registration!
Join us as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day on Saturday, April 24th, 2010 by participating in a 5K Run/Walk, Neighborhood Clean Up and Green Festival.
The festivities kick off with a 5K for Earth Day at 8 a.m. followed by a day-long celebration with family entertainment, environmental education, and a farmers market. With the support of city councilmen Roberto Maldonado of the 26th Ward and Rey Colon of the 35th Ward the 5k for Earth Day will be an integral part of promoting their Green agenda.
